Piotr Krzymowski (1989) is a Polish artist based in London. He graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2012.
Piotr works across a variety of mediums including photography, installation, collage and video. In his practice Piotr examines the effects of the internet age on an evermore widespread and dependent generation. He often examines the metabolic conditions of ‘technophoria” and suggests that human needs and desires are satisfied purely by the continual evolution of our electronic devices. The artist looks carefully at our post-digital condition and the ways in which our manners, relationships and feelings can be expressed and interacted with through internet-fuelled devices that have become essential in navigating our daily lives.
Piotr has participated in many exhibitions in galleries and institutions including: ICA (London), CCA (Glasgow), Whitechapel Gallery (London), CoCA (Torun), Liverpool Biennial, Tate Modern (London), Kasia Michalski Gallery (Warsaw), and l'étrangère gallery (London).
