Joe Fox (b. 1992, UK) is an artist based in London. He completed The Drawing Year postgraduate program at The Royal Drawing School (2020). Joe is interested in the way contemporary life is made up of, or can be seen through, a series of broken images. A reliance on digital media, which imposes itself more steadily on our lives each year, means that the world is necessarily fragmented: we are exposed to countless images a day — some we might keep as talismans, some we disregard. His art practice is in conversation with this daily experience. His work is concerned with these fragments of a life, what images make it up, and how we may draw narratives from the pieces.
